THE OASIS CENTER is a place of peace, encouragement and training. It is a place which manifests the goodness of God. The property was purchased by a partner church in New York in October 2005. It is home in Mexico for James and Beverly Rackley.
The number one objective for James Rackley Ministries and THE OASIS CENTER is children. James and Beverly Rackley believe children are the world’s greatest natural resource. During the summer of 2008 they trained workers and provided Vacation Bible Schools for the children in 85 Mayan Indian villages. These Vacation Bible Schools reached over 7000 precious children in the jungle villages.
In 2008 THE OASIS CENTER provided training, meals and overnight accommodations for 350 leaders. Those leaders are impacting hundreds of adults and children across several states in Southern Mexico and the country of Belize.
THE OASIS CENTER has beautiful dormitories that are used by groups from the United States and Canada from time to time as they visit and minister. Many groups came to do construction and help distribute food after Hurricane Dean. Our dormitories can sleep fifty people.
THE OASIS CENTER has beautiful bathrooms that consist of twelve showers in addition to other restroom facilities. The money to build this convenient facility was provided by a church in Massachusetts in honor of our deceased friend Pastor Sam Smith.
THE OASIS CENTER kitchen facilities are wonderful. The equipment was provided by friends in Texas and Ontario Canada. Praise God for partners!
THE OASIS CENTER dining area is also wonderful. The dining area can seat 100+ people. It was originally build by a church group from Texas. However it was badly damaged by Hurricane Dean and had to be rebuilt.
God’s has provided THE OASIS CENTER to serve the precious people of Southern Mexico and Northern Belize.
